Organizational Statement

The First Federal Division (FFD) and Cleburne’s Division (CD) plans and executes a long-range calendar for National Level reenactments and assumes a leadership role for successful reenacting campaigns.

Its purpose is to provide leadership and a working venue for all members and to offer an informed portrayal of “Soldiers” and civilians of the Civil War through shared experiences and open communication and to:

• Enhance the reenacting experience by coordinating events for, and with, affiliated organizations across the Country.
• Facilitate and increase participation in quality events as well as promote quality impressions

To be considered as a member or affiliated organization of the Blue Gray Alliance requires an organization’s active support at any Blue Gray Alliance event. The organization should show a willingness to work with and for the community of reenactors across the country; and agree to comply with published rules and safety standards of the First Federal Division and/or Cleburne’s Division, or as otherwise coordinated with the FFD and CD organizations.
